Soroptimist International of Grosse Pointe (SIGP) has 63 members including 2 lifetime members as of July 2018. The structure and activities of the club begin with a board meeting the first Wednesday of each month and a business meeting the second Wednesday of each month.
SIGP awards two Live Your Dream Awards, a Virginia Wagner Educational Grant, and a Ruby Award for Women Helping Women. These awards are funded primarily by the Dine-Around-Town restaurant gift certificate raffle, Soroptimist Second Hand Sales and mini fund raisers which all members participate in.
For twenty plus years SIGP has given volunteer service to Positive Images, Inc., a residential therapeutic center for women recovering from alcohol and substance addiction located in Detroit.

In 2012, SIGP established a Friendship Link with the Soroptimist International of Hikone, Shiga, Japan. We also have Friendship Links with Soroptimist clubs in Manchester, UK; Brisbane City, Australia; Quito, Ecuador and South Kolkata Wiil, Bengal.
