Membership extension in our region has been successful in chartering two new clubs in the last calendar year. Efforts by our Membership Committee Chairwoman Bev Bucur and industrious members of SI-Monroe County Michigan have helped to create new clubs in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Lucas County, Ohio.

Program information and "interested party" outreach through Soroptimist International of the Americas in Philadelphia encourage all women to consider the addition of a Soroptimist Club in their local communities.

Chartering is an ongoing "growing" process which our members welcome and support. A third new club is currently in the
preparation stages of chartering in Michigan at this time.
